I don’t know about you, but Fall is my absolute favorite season. It is a little ironic given that it is also my allergy season, but there is just something about this time of year that just makes me happy. The crisp air, the leaves brilliant display of color of autumn leafs, and the slightly cooler temperatures make it a runner’s paradise. The summer crowds have left the beaches so boardwalk runs can be enjoyed in quiet solitude. The trails are at their peak beauty and it is easy to lose track of time as you get lost in the wonder around you. Fall also brings about a sense of nostalgia for my days spent running cross country in high school…the practices, the races, and of course my teammates.

img_20161103_170816One other thing I love about Fall is that with the cooler temperatures I can finally slip into sweats again! Relaxing after a hard run is key, and sweats are my go-to relaxation / recovery gear. This year I was lucky enough to add Champion’s Powerblend Fleece sweats to my collection. I am a huge fan of hoodies, and Champion’s Pullover Hoodie does not disappoint. It is soft and warm without any added bulk like some other hoodies I have owned in the past. And, because it looks good, I can easily wear it out to run errands or play with my boys in the back yard.

img_20161103_170938The comfort would not be complete without the sweat pants. Once you slide these on you will be ready to just lounge on the couch and take a nap. They are incredibly comfortable, fit well, and are a perfect way to warm your legs after a cold run. They also make it very easy to wrestle with my boys or give in to the endless calls to “chase me daddy!”

I have been wearing them for a few weeks now, and they still look like new even after multiple washes. According to Champion’s website, the sweats reduce pilling and are shrink resistant, which so far seems to be holding true. I will definitely continue to put them to the test as I wear them several times a week…they have definitely become my go-to “chill wear.”

So if you are looking for some comfortable and durable sweats to help you relax and recover after runs this Fall and Winter, I would definitely recommend adding Champion’s Powerblend Fleece to your collection. Happy running (and chilling) everyone!
